Event Description

Perisher kicks off the 2012 Australian winter ski season with a bang with the 4th Snowy Mountains of Music Festival. The vibrant four day festival is packed with live music at the snow offering a mix of world, folk, roots, celtic, acoustic, traditional music, song, dance, poetry and yarn spinning. The festival takes place in up to ten indoor venues in Perisher Valley, Smiggin Holes and Guthega Alpine Village.
Headline acts include Christine Anu, Ash Grunwald, Afro Mandinko, The Sunny Cowgirls and Eric Bogle. And as it's the start of the ski season there will be snow to enjoy, especially for first-timers. Weekend festival passes and all inclusive accommodation packages are available.
